David is one of six children; he comes from an extremely close-knit African-American family. David was born in Queens, New York. David's hobbies include cycling, photography, and indoor gardening (he has a green thumb).
From a young age, he knew he wanted to be a doctor and devoted himself to his studies. His brother and sisters all have children who adore him, as do the nieces and nephews in Marie’s family. As hard as he works, David always finds time to visit with his nieces and nephews and play with them, tell stories, and give 100% of his attention to them. He is a special man.
