Hello and thank you for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We know that you are going through a lot and that you are struggling to decide what is best for you and your child and if you should consider private adoptions or not. We’d like to tell you a little about ourselves so that you might consider whether placing your child with us could be the right choice. We hope the pictures in our website will give you a glimpse of who we are and our connection to our wonderful extended family which is such an important part of our lives and into which we hope to bring a child.
As you will see in our pictures, we are surrounded by children-nieces, nephews, godsons, goddaughters, and the children of friends – we love spending as much time as we can with them, but sometimes it feels bittersweet because, as much as we love the sleepovers, shopping trips, and all the fun we have with them, after returning the children to their parents, we make the drive home alone. At this point in our lives our fondest hope is to share our lives with a child who we would nurture and love unconditionally.
If biracial adoptions are a matter of concern for you, we’d like you to know that our family is a wonderful mix of color and culture. David comes from a close-knit African American family and Marie from a Filipino family. We see the beauty in every skin color and culture and love to embrace our differences. If you are considering any type of interracial adoptions, know that your child would be a wonderful blessing to our family no matter what their background is.
