Marie was born the second of five children in a remote rural area of the Philippines. Marie’s family is really close-knit and their number one priority has always been looking out for each other. When Marie was 10 years old, the family moved to the United States. Since Marie was the oldest sister, she assumed the role of helping her parents take care of her four siblings—it’s always been her nature. Marie’s brothers and sisters now have beautiful families of their own. When Marie’s brother divorced, Marie helped to raise his two children. Both of these children are now in college where they are exceptional students and great all-around young adults. We are so proud of them.
